Our recommendation today is to visit the Luz De Alba rural accommodations, near Lagunas de Ruidera, for a few days during the week.
Finca Luz De Alba is one of the first Eco-accommodations in Spain near Lagunas de Ruidera, offering travelers a unique experience centered around Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
AUTUMN AT FINCA LUZ DE ALBA

Regarding our work on the estate, from September onward, the olive fruit is practically at half its final size. In October, as a general rule, the fruit reaches its final size, beginning the ripening process and color change (which can already be seen in some areas of the tree).
November and December bring the ripening of the olives and their harvest. We offer you the possibility of peaceful walks among our sea of olive trees, a swim in the pool or in the private outdoor bathtub of each villa. A visit to the oil mill…
The accommodations, only 6, are ideal for both families and couples. They were designed to provide the comfort of a small designer villa in the middle of an olive grove. One of the things our guests highlight most is the tranquility of the nights and the possibility of contemplating the sky from the terrace or the pillow viewpoint that each accommodation features.
AUTUMN AT LAGUNAS DE RUIDERA AND CASTILLA LA MANCHA
It is in autumn when the Lagunas de Ruidera reveal their full beauty, giving life to a large number of waterfalls, making it especially advisable to explore the park during this time of year.
Our guests will be especially drawn to the color change in the valley, forming beautiful scenes occasionally covered by autumn mists and fog.
Annual plants such as reeds and cattails lose their intense greens, so representative during summer, and change to ochres and browns. The lagoons turn emerald green colors, contrasting with the multitude of black poplars that, before losing their leaves, paint the shores of these lagoons yellow.
However, at this time of year, the waters are not the only attraction for the thousands of tourists who come to see them. Hundreds of migratory birds enliven the waterfalls of Lagunas de Ruidera. Among them, the Cormorant stands out as the king of the lagoon, with its yellow beak, blue head, and unique way of showing off in front of them. This is why Lagunas de Ruidera is a Special Protection Area for birds at the European level (ZEPA Zone).
From America to Africa, and during their stopover in La Mancha, a guardian always flies overhead. They provide the voice to this natural soundtrack—we cannot find words to define it. A beautiful, living watercolor that produces a very characteristic sound these days at the lagoons.
Since it is possible to rent a kayak to explore the lagoons, if you go very quietly, you will be able to discover them in their wildest state, in any corner where you least expect it.
ADVANTAGES OF VISITING DURING THE WEEK

The advantages are countless, beginning with the intoxicating peace of the September months. The temperature is warm, the nights are already cool, the crowds and bustle of summer have disappeared. There is no longer a need to make reservations at restaurants near the lagoons, there are no longer beaches full of people—this entire setting for you alone, all this beauty for a more serene enjoyment, emotionally calmer and more bucolic.
Added to this is a change from high to low season, with the resulting savings that this entails for all services. In our case, we also launch autumn and winter weekday offers that are very attractive, with an average savings of 15% and even 1 free night if you stay with us for more than 4 nights.

Ideal autumn at Finca Luz De Alba—take advantage of the calm, the climate, the murmur of the waterfalls in near solitude, and the changing leaves of the trees accompanied by one of the most spectacular bird migrations in Castilla La Mancha.
