Luz de Alba will host the event “Versatility of EVOO in the Restaurant Industry”

Finca Luz de Alba is organising, for next October 26, an educational event on EVOO at its facilities. The event, aimed at all hospitality professionals—especially chefs, sommeliers and front-of-house managers—will take place at Finca Luz de Alba, located on Carretera Argamasilla de Alba-Tomelloso, 13710 Argamasilla de Alba, Ciudad Real.

Under the title “Versatility of EVOO in the Restaurant Industry”, this event will be held in the morning, from 10:00 to 14:00, with talks and hands-on experimentation with Extra Virgin Olive Oil in different textures and across different dishes, cooking methods and flavours.

Directors and content of the event “Versatility of EVOO in the Restaurant Industry”

This event focuses on promoting the culture of extra virgin olive oil and exploring the gastronomic properties of EVOO. We will be joined by two outstanding masters: José Francisco Atienza, winner of the 11th National Cooking Competition “Ajo Morado de Las Pedroñeras” 2019, and Jorge Susinos, first prize Miguel de Cervantes gastronomy award in avant-garde cuisine 2019.

The event consists of theoretical content combined with tasting sessions and experimentation with Extra Virgin Olive Oil in different textures and across different dishes, cooking methods and flavours. In addition, attendees will visit the olive mill, where they will be able to observe the production process of the Premium oils and, finally, taste the EVOO freshly obtained straight from the branch. In this regard, the aim of this event is to contribute to the development of the senses, increase the value of Premium extra virgin olive oil in the restaurant industry and, lastly, discover its gastronomic value.

To conclude the event, we will enjoy a meal at our Finca Luz de Alba, delighting in the surroundings and the company of industry professionals, allowing attendees to share knowledge and expand their network of contacts.
