Luz de Alba is one of four companies from Castilla-La Mancha that have joined forces to form the cooperation group Quixote Organic Foods, together with the Global Nature Foundation. This project was created to market the group companies’ organic products in national and international markets.

Quixote Organic Foods cooperation group

The Quixote Organic Foods cooperation group is an initiative created with the aim of promoting organic products from La Mancha in European and global markets. We are referring to saffron, wine, cheese and La Mancha olive oil. Luz de Alba has joined this project as a producer of La Mancha olive oil to achieve recognition for the product in the international market.

With the same objective of giving visibility to its products from La Mancha, the following companies from Castilla-La Mancha are joining Luz de Alba in this initiative: Proyecto Los Aires, as an olive oil producer; Tolegarva, as a wine producer; and the Cristo de Santa Ana Cooperative. In addition, this small group also includes the participation of the Global Nature Foundation. The role of this foundation will be to provide advice on the implementation and management of agro-environmental measures by producers from La Mancha.

Among the group’s objectives is for a representative of the companies to attend the world’s most renowned organic product events. The next major international event will be the Biofach 2020 trade fair.
